1. Playable BASIL
- BASIL has 3 tier emotions.
- BASIL is both a healer and a damage dealer and can restore juice and debuff. Obviously for balance purposes, since we can only play as OMORI and BASIL.
- BASIL's follow ups:
> Vent
OMORI and BASIL attack, both of them become angry.
> Mull
OMORI and BASIL become sad and gain juice.
> Comfort
OMORI and BASIL become happy and heal.
- The release energy is a full heal and restores all juice, then does one attack. It also causes a regeneration effect for the rest of the battle.
2. The fight against friends.
- They aren't Headspace friends, but are clones created by Headspace MARI and KEL.
- They have many of their normal moves, so this is probably how the enemies see us. (Including the KEL nuke oh no)
- The song has leitmotifs from "Tussle Among the Trees", aka battle theme of the normal forest.
- The song also has the airhorn part of "My Time" by Bo En. It also contains a slightly altered version of the chord progression that comes after.
3. The fight against MARI...
- Trauma
- MARI doesn't even fight, she just heals you.
- The song that plays when you fight her is a Waltz, since they were MARI'sfavorites.
- MARI's theme, aka "By Your Side". (It first plays when you meet Headspace MARI and BASIL)
- In this fight, the vines from BASIL's skill "Flower Crown" for a moment has a rope texture.
- Clearly makes reference to the whole SUNNY and BASIL shenanigans.
- Of course it would become creepy; You're basically "killing" the MARI clone, however, as it was said in the Deep Well "Your dear sister MARI, you couldn't bear to see her die again, so she was confined to the safety of a picnic blanket". Of course seeing her "die" again would be triggering for SUNNY, especially since OMORI and BASIL are the ones doing it.
4. Aftermath
- The friends don't seem to remember, but OMORI clearly does, considering he's like the god of the place- However, it did happen in the dream world, since BASIL seems to have some sort of deja vu.
- OMORI probably lost the control for a moment. It seems that he didn't expect that to happen, and tried to take control immediately. He also tried to reverse damage by making the others forget what happened (maybe including SUNNY) so that they don't speak about it.
- OMORI's reaction, he's clearly mad and suspicious of everyone. He probably thinks that BASIL did it on purpose, so was probably thinking of sending him to the Black Space. Also, he's either annoyed or mad or suspicious of Headspace MARI's actions.
- MARI saying "I will always be here for you, I'll take care of you as long as I'm here... And that means forever!"... It's so sad that SUNNY is probably trying to convince himself that MARI is still with him, or just the ghost MARI shenanigans.
